Job Overview

We are looking for pizza makers and line cooks to join our new establishment located on the edge of The Hill. We are a pizza restaurant and hifi listening bar with a carefully curated menu of delicious, always hand crafted pizzas and appetizers.

We've set out to create a restaurant that encourages new ideas and collaboration within the kitchen and bar. New hires must be willing to keep high standards of quality and safety standards as well as have an open mind for learning something new. We hold both creativity and execution very near to our core principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and present pizza and appetizers efficiently and accurately.
• Learn and follow our recipes and processes.
• Maintain strict food safety sanitizing procedures to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Bring your ideas and creativity to future menu possibilities during down time.
• Keeping a cool head and managing food production during peak hours.
• An understanding in food handling, portion control, and proper storage of ingredients to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional dining experiences for guests.
• Operating kitchen equipment such as the pizza oven and dough mixer.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, especially within a restaurant or high-volume food service environment.
• An understanding or willingness to learn techniques in ingredient preparation, making dough, cooking pizzas, general cooking techniques.
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting.
• Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
• Previous experience in the food industry or catering is highly desirable.
